I started this blog for me first, and who I am is revealed in my lines… well at least I hope it will be…if this fails let me help you out some.
I am Belle, from the little island paradise of Barbados. I live where you vacation but I aspire to travel the world. I feel so full of potential and am excited about my future!
I am 22 and I’m awesome, and I’m here to form part of a community with other awesome individuals. I am here to share my thoughts, to inspire, to make some impact. I love to love and appreciate the little things. I’m super corny and laugh at my own jokes and find such great enjoyment when I’m alone.
I started this blog because I wanted a forum, a public space where there’s freedom of expression, to do so. I wanted to hear my thoughts out loud and I wanted this expression to be permanent…or somewhat. I wanted a space that could store all my thoughts on various subject matter, and chronicle life events and revelations. I wanted to do this to recognise growth, you know… look back and see how far I’ve come. I started this blog as a means to practice acknowledging and showing appreciation to those that have positively affected me in some way. I started this blog to expose my creativity.
Every time I’m about to start something new or daring, this voice tells me “It really isn’t that great, not worthy, no one will care” so I started this blog to tell that voice “Shut the hell up!”. I started this blog as a declaration! The start of “I can and I will and I’m gonna”. I started this blog to be held accountable. I started this blog because I have something to offer the world far beyond the boundaries of this isle.
An open and public blog is huge for me because I’m quite the contrary…but I want to do that which scares me.
This blog is a seat into my mind and a glimpse of my spirit.
